SPRAG CLUTCH BEARING

$2,000.00

Roller Clutch bearings are designed to transmit torque between the shaft & housing in one direction while allowing free overrun in the opposite direction. They also prevent starter motor failure, by restricting reverse drive while the engine is running. They are often called One Way Bearings and Clutch bearings.
A sprag clutch is used in the electric starter motors of modern motorcycle engines to replace the Bendix gear common to automobile starters.
